Making plans.............

Last month we visited the Commanche Iris Gardens and had lunch in Deerborn, MO.
Wow. The iris gardens were spectacular.

This month we had a Meet & Greet for the Farmgirls on the Loose Tour.
The Hughes lob cabin in Shoal Creek Living History Museum really set the mood for the dinner. Everyone loved the cabin. Thank you to Debbie Green for setting it up.

There are no plans for July, YET. If anyone else has plans let me know.

August is state fair month. Pick and state and pick a state fair. I like Iowa myself, but we were also tossing around the idea of Minnesota and actually setting up for MJF Meet & Greet. Bonnie Ellis, from MN, will be working a Moo booth for the Dairy Council and will look into the possibility of having a booth too.
The Missouri state fair is the closest ,in Sedalia.

September 18 is the Apron Gathering out chapter is hosting . It is in conjunction with the Back to Basics Farm Fair in Shoal Creek. All hands on deck for this one.
We would also like to have a vendor booth of our own for the day. This would involve making items or vintage kitchen, garden, linen anything to sell. Also, books.

The website will be updated for those wishing to attend. It will include the map, admission, lunch and events just for farmgirls and the rest is the farm fair.

October, November, December are available if you have an idea for the chapter.
Don't forget about a Christmas gathering, too.
